Should I use a primer before I paint my baby’s mural?

VR_-primer_funmuralsThe primer is a specifically prepared white paint that it is used to coat the walls before you paint them. It is very important to use a primer, because it will seal the wall, cover imperfections, cover any old paint that you might have, and give you a fresh start.

The primer is the only paint you can trust that cover satins, marker lines, water marks, etc. The primer also guarantee the durability of your work. In a raw wall, it protects the final paint from peeling off.

The primer prepares your “canvas” when you are painting a mural, it produces a uniform surface, seal porous and hides imperfections.

If your background color is a dark one, you must choose a tinted primer in order to achieve the proper color. Tinted primers are formulated with a minimal amount of white pigment to promote hiding, and to ensure you will not need many coats with you final paint.
